"OCTOBER 2008"
"Mexico"
The rummage sale we had on the 2th of September raised over $400, so we have decided to have another one in the next couple of weeks, weather permitting. please bring anything you think will sell. Clean clothing, unbroken items, that you would consider purchasing yourself. Please look around the house and garage and see if you have items that you could donate for this worthy venture for our Youth. We all have something sitting around that we do not use any longer and is too nice to throw away. That's what we want in this rummage sale! These funds will be used firstly to purchase the gasoline needed to haul us all around, including toll fees, then the food that the kids will eat while in Mexico. If we go to the Mountains it will pay for a hotel we stay in up there. I f we raise enough money we can help the kids with their airfare.
"INDIA"
Pastor Varghese has written Pastor Burgess and told him that it may well be that the Lord was protecting the Burgess' by not allowing the visa to be granted to them for their trip that was scheduled in September. Even though both sides were disappointed there is much persecution going on, mostly in Northern Inida and in parts of mid-India. We were told that there were uprisings of persecution even in the Southern parts of India. Keep our Churches in India in prayer and especially our Leaders and their families. The Hindu students today are more radical than those of the past. They are strongly against Christianity. Even though they worship over 4 million gods, they seem to be afraid to hear about the One True God of the Bible! This is a nation crowded with a mulitude that will never make heaven without Jesus Christ. Keep them in your prayers!

Pastor Tony at Loving Faith's pulpit this year!
Please pray for Pastor Tony Powell, our good friend from Manchester, England. He has been suffering with renal difficulties. Problems with the kidneys can be quite dangerous. Please keep both Pastors Tony and Jane in your continued prayers! Let's believe the Lord together for absolute victory for the both of them!

South Africa
The Moodleys are busy in their ministry in South Africa including the building of their new facility. Please continue to pray for this monumental effort in South Africa!
"Philippines"

The emails that are coming to us from the islands of the Philippines tell us that Pastor Harry Pasiliao is working hard in the ministry traveling around speaking and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in that part of the World. He is constantly trying new doors of opportunity the Lord opens to him for the sake of the Kingdom of God. He is doing a great job overseeing the work of Loving Faith in that tropical nation. His parents, Pastor Wily and Mary along with all the family of the Pasiliaos , are feeding the children of Laoc and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ at our Prayer camp in Pangasinan. Keep them in prayer! |
