"July 2010"

I just returned from the west coast from a visit to our new ministry there through the Ricks. It is a very small start but the presence of God is hugh. Just a couple of minutes in that room as they are worshipping the Lord and you do not want to leave.  I shared the Word with them on Friday night the 25th of June. It was a great time with the Lord.  Then on Sunday the 27th, I shared at Alsea Community Church under Pastor Bill Smith.  We had a great time. God is doing some very special things in that little community between highway 99 and highway 101 coastal highway. He is bringing in all the right people to do a special last days work there. I have been invited back to minister again, and I am looking forward to it.                                                                                                          Rev. Patrick L. "June 2010"

I received a wonderful letter from Bud Allyn the other day. As most know he will be back with us in July. Bud would b the first to admit that he has not been faithful to the Lord at all times in the past. He was telling me about my last visit with him how the Lord touched him in a mighty way. We had joined hands in prayer as we always do when we part company whe both of us were deeply aware of the Lord's presence and annointing on both of us. He said the power of the Lord set him back into his chair. We both felt that surge of the Holy Spirit. Bud told me in his letter that he had not "felt" the Lord like that for years. He then said that He had forgotten how awesome God was!  Then in his letter he declared a powerful truth, "The Lord never fails us, when we have weak faith, we fail Him!"  Isn't this the absolute truth? When we have weak faith, we fail the Lord.  Thanks Bud, for the wonderful sermon in that letter you sent. Looking forward to having him with us again real soon!                 Pastor P.L. Burgess
