"January 2012"

Can you believe it?  We are coming into another year!  2012 has come upon us! Amazing. I was talking to amember of Loving Faith the other day. I told him that it was 25 years since I first knocked on his door to visit with him. Hard to believe. Those 25 years seem to have whizzed by!  I told him that the next 25 will come and go like the last, and we better put them to good use.  In the body of Christ there is no retirement!  The Bible tells us that a Deacon, if he performs his office well, purchases for themselves a "good degree" (bathmo's = step or grade of dignity in the Kingdom of God), well if that is true for them is true for all the other positions in the Body!  Our focus needs to be on the Kingdom. This year, 2012 lets all seek first the Kingdom of God and know that ALL THINGS shall be added unto us as we do. Be blessed in your committment to the Lord this coming year and when this year whizzes by (and it will) let's look back in 2013 at all the Lord has blessed us with in our obedience to Him!  Happy and Prosperous New Year in the Lord!                            Pastor P.L. "January 2011"

Here it is, the end of 2010, and the beginning of 2011. I am always anticipant of what it is coming this new year the Lord has brought us to. God willing, several trips overseas. To start off our year our corporate churches throughout the world are joining us in a 21 Daniel fast, starting on the first of January to the 21st.  A three week fast of eating only non-processed foods. No cakes or ice-cream or anything fancy. No meats. Just simple diet like Daniel fasted on those infamous 21 days in the Bible. Most of Loving Faith Headquarters joined us last year as well as our two churches in town. Pastor Moodley contacted me last year to join him for a successful fast. Many Christians throughout the world fast this fast at the first of the year. So we will be a part of something much bigger than us. Fasting is like turning the dimmer switch down to dim on the physical man so the spriitual man will shine brighter. Let's believe the Lord for great breakthroughs in our individual lives as welll as our international ministries. This is an exciting time for the Body of Christ and a bad time for the devil and his works.
